Policy
We play a vital role in the domestic and commercial lives of the communities we serve. Our actions have important implications for all of - customers, employees, suppliers and communities.

For our customers - individuals, public authorities and commercial concerns - our brand represents a commitment to delivering a better service.

Our Values
We operate by a set of values and ethics that fully support our vision. They include:

Top priority is the safety of its customers and employees. To encourage the sustainable development of public transport, the company works in partnership with local authorities.

Environmental policy is in place. The policy complies with all legal requirements and incorporates industry best practice.

The Board recognises that the three key environmental areas for the Group are:

  • the promotion and use of public transport
  • the reduction of waste emissions
  • efficient use of water and energy.

We are regularly looking at ways in which it can further reduce the level of harmful emissions released into the environment.
 
Health & Safety Policy

We recognise the fundamental importance of safety within the business. It aims to ensure the safety of all employees and customers through:

  • effective policies and processes,
  • providing premises and equipment that are safe
  • taking all reasonable steps to avoid any risk to health, and
  • appropriate training, information and supervision.

In support of this, specific policies have been established to cover key aspects of safety.

The Directors meet on a regular basis to the adequacy and effectiveness of the overall safety policy of the company. They carry out regular assessments of the workplace and monitor relevant legislative, and regulatory developments.

It is the responsibility of all employees to operate in a safe manner and to seek to prevent accidents and risks to health.

This defines the minimum standards that must be applied throughout the business irrespective of location. Safety policies and processes are updated from time to time to reflect changes in legislation, best practice, and working circumstances

Environmental Policy

The policy aims to ensure the protection of the environment in which we operate, the effective and efficient use of energy and raw materials, and the minimisation of waste.

The aim of the policy is not simply legislative compliance, the Directors wish to enhance our corporate responsibility by supporting the development of best practice and innovative solutions to industry challenges in order to add value and deliver sustainable growth.

In order to continuously improve, environmental policies are updated from time to time, to reflect changes in legislation, best practice, and working circumstances.

HR Statement

We believe that we should always comply with the relevant legislation aimed at protecting people at work. Our aim is to create an environment in which all people are valued and can be successful at work as a result of our genuinely valuing differences in all people.
